We’re delighted to welcome back the brilliant Ragged & Old Morris Dancers, a lively and talented local side from Stroud. 🌿

🎻 Catch them in action from 2pm, dancing their way through the village with their unmistakable energy, music, and colourful costumes. Expect:

Clashing sticks & swirling hankies

🥁 Live folk music & traditional rhythms

📸 Brilliant photo opportunities!

Ragged & Old Morris is a mixed side performing a range of dances in the Cotswold style.

The group has been established for over 30 years and is based around the beautiful Five Valleys of Stroud, Gloucestershire. 💚

In addition to Morris dancing, they also perform Step Clog and bring festive cheer with Mumming plays at Christmas.

The Morris dancers bring a timeless charm to the show, reminding us of the rich heritage of English village life, while also keeping the tradition fresh and evolving.

💫 Whether you’re a long-time fan or new to the tradition, don’t miss this joyful spectacle as part of your Cherington Show experience.

A huge thanks to Ragged & Old for helping keep these wonderful customs alive!
