We’re delighted to welcome back the brilliant Ragged & Old Morris Dancers, a lively and talented local side from Stroud. 🌿

šŸŽ» Catch them in action from 2pm, dancing their way through the village with their unmistakable energy, music, and colourful costumes. Expect:

✨ Clashing sticks & swirling hankies

🄁 Live folk music & traditional rhythms

šŸ“ø Brilliant photo opportunities!

Ragged & Old Morris is a mixed side performing a range of dances in the Cotswold style.

The group has been established for over 30 years and is based around the beautiful Five Valleys of Stroud, Gloucestershire. šŸ’š

In addition to Morris dancing, they also perform Step Clog and bring festive cheer with Mumming plays at Christmas.

The Morris dancers bring a timeless charm to the show, reminding us of the rich heritage of English village life, while also keeping the tradition fresh and evolving.

šŸ’« Whether you’re a long-time fan or new to the tradition, don’t miss this joyful spectacle as part of your Cherington Show experience.

A huge thanks to Ragged & Old for helping keep these wonderful customs alive!
