At 3pm, the sound of church bells will ring out across the village as the Avening Bell Ringers perform a special peal at Cherington Church.

Bell ringing, known as change ringing, is a traditional skill that combines rhythm, teamwork and precision, and has been part of village life for centuries.

It is a rare chance to experience this tradition first hand, and one not to be missed.

All part of a day that helps raise funds for our Church and Village Hall.

Join us on Sunday 26th July 2026, 1pm to 5pm.
