Sunday 19 September

For the first and only time in its 76 year history, the Cherington Show will be held in September.

Although the change of date was dictated by circumstance, we are very excited to have the show back on after a year's hiatus. We will do everything we can to retain the traditional country village feel the show has always had, whilst embracing any opportunity the new date has to offer.

All the usual entertainment, stalls, displays and competitions will be on offer and have been adapted slightly to reflect the new season. We hope that along with the old favourites, you will love the new competitions in this schedule and be tempted to have a go!

On the day, visit the church to see the horticulture and floral displays, as well as a brand new historical display and go to the Village Hall to see the craft and cookery entries.  Stalls all around the village include Cakes, Books and CDs, Plants, Bottles, Tombola, Sweets, Designer Clothes, local produce and Children’s toys and clothes.

For entertainment there is live music from Georgina Leach as well Morris Dancers, and a whole area dedicated to children’s games.  Back by popular demand is our “Find the Teddy” competition - win a prize if you find the 10 teddies placed around the village (Sheets to fill out are available in the car park or with the Treasurer).

The Treasurer and Organisers are based at Coxes Farm, which is well signposted and is also the point of contact for any emergency
or first aid requirement.

The money raised each year is used to support our Church and Village Hall and we thank all our visitors who help us to do this.
