Now in its 76th Year, the Show has evolved and developed over the years, yet it still maintains the feel of a country village affair.  The traditional events continue with horticultural, cookery, flower

and handicraft competitions.

Each year we are amazed at the creativity of those who kindly exhibit but…. we are always trying to encourage anyone new, young or old, to enter so please do have a look through the competitions in this schedule and have a go!

On the day, visit the Church to see the floral displays and the Village Hall to see the craft and cookery entries.  Stalls all around the village include Cakes, Books and CDs, Plants, Bottles, Tombola, Sweets, Designer Clothes, Food… Ice Creams will also be sold throughout the Afternoon.

For entertainment there are Games, Music and Morris Dancers..

For children there are all sorts of games and competitions. including for the first time this year a children’s Fancy Dress competition.  Following its huge success last year we will also once again have a “Find the Teddy” competition, in which you win a prize if you find the 10 teddies placed around the village (Sheets to fill out are available in the car park or with the Treasurer).

The Treasurer and Organisers are based at Coxes Farm, which is well signposted and is also the point of contact for any emergency or first aid requirement.  The money raised each year is used to support our Church, Village Hall and Cricket Club and we thank all our visitors who help us to do this.

The Fun Dog Show is ever popular and there are classes for many dogs.

Come and visit us in Cherington, Gloucestershire, GL8 8SN on Sunday 19th July with a BBQ from 12.30pm and the show officially opening at 1.30pm! Car parking £2.
